Lot of work...loving it!
I became tired of constantly thinking of what to do with my hair and tried every hairstyle in the book. The journey started with cutting off and swearing off perms, letting my natural hair grow out and wearing braids. April/2007 was the approximate date and I have been locked up ever since. The journey was sometimes not that fun but hats and scarves became my friends...at first. Then I saw my patience grow with people, my interest on how things work increase and people constantly stared at the top of my head...instead of the 'girls' below my neckline. However, I'll cut them to a nice comfortable length and do everything imaginable with them. I also have created hair accessories for them, that not only takes the place of never finding hair accessories in the local store, but is also a great stress reliever. Three months later, hats and scarves became a thing of the past. Instead of covering them up, I let them swing free and beautiful. I love my 'Lovely Locs!'
