Locking curly hair for short locs

For my 40th birthday, I decide to take charge and go natural with dreads. The process was not an easy one, due to the fact my hair is very soft and naturally curly.

The first 6 months was not pretty and I wanted to give up!

No matter how tight my stylist would twist my hair, it would not remain tightly twisted.

My stylist and I tried every product on the market...nothing really worked.

We decided the best way to combat this issue was with hair rods and rollers. Yes, that's right... ROLLERS!

Hmm, an alternative to palm rolling dreadlocks?

Usually, the only time you'll hear the word "roll" when it relates to locs is palm rolling.

Using rods and rollers in your hair as a maintenance technique (in addition to great styling) is a good consideration for your hair type.
